Matthew Raymond (he/him) is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. As a white, gay, male who identifies as neurodivergent, he strives to bring support and healing to his communities. He is committed to supporting individuals using a trauma-informed approach. At the Los Angeles LGBT Center, Matthew provided crisis intervention, counseling, and long-term support for LGBTQ+ individuals experiencing challenges with anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. At Amend Residential Treatment Center, he provided wrap-around, holistic care to clients through intensive individual and group therapy sessions, as well as transitioning clients to a more moderate level of care (IOP/PHP) for individuals with treatment-resistant depression, personality disorders, OCD, and bipolar disorder. Matthew works with modalities such as Somatic Experiencing, Inner Child work, DBT, CBT, IFS, ecotherapy, and is trained in Ketamine-assisted therapy integration and works primarily with LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and ethically non-monogamous communities. With a background in working with complex cases, including dual diagnoses and trauma, he strives to create a safe and affirming space for all clients. Matthew is supervised by Shiva Howell, LMFT 129944.
