Nneka Osueke

Clinician

Nneka Osueke is an artist, wellness practitioner, and Associate Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Child Studies from Antioch University Los Angeles in 2018. In 2019, Nneka relocated to Thailand, where she spent four years working as an English teacher and later as a mental health counselor in addiction and recovery in Chiang Mai. During this time, she curated and hosted wellness retreats, community-centered events, and published her book Blooming Abroad: For Black Women Traveling to Foreign Lands.

Nneka is deeply committed to expanding access to holistic mental health care for communities impacted by marginalization. Her work is informed by an understanding of how race, gender, culture, societal expectations, education, and systemic structures shape mental health. Combined with her global lived experience, this perspective allows her to connect authentically with individuals from diverse backgrounds and walks of life. Outside of her clinical work, Nneka enjoys painting and sculpting, traveling, staying active, and spending time with her dog. Nneka is supervised by Chalsey Miller, LMFT 103869
