Shantal Noel
Clinician
Shantal Noel is an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist and a PhD candidate in Human Sexuality, specializing in intimacy, sexual disconnection, and relational healing. She supports individuals and couples in understanding the patterns that block connection—often shaped by early messages about emotion, identity, and worth—in order to help build more honest, aligned relationships. With experience in inpatient addiction treatment and advanced training in couples therapy, she brings a trauma-informed, shame-reducing lens to her work. She is trained in multiple modalities including Gottman Method Couples Therapy, IFS (Internal Family Systems), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), integrating these modalities to support healing from relational and developmental trauma. Her approach blends evidence-based practices with a deep curiosity about how culture, relational history, and internalized narratives shape our sexual and emotional lives. Shantal is supervised by Shiva Howell, LMFT 129944.
